Again, written as a dance tune. Fun to play because people always
giggled as they danced- a special little event unto itself. BTW, this pre-dates 'Dude Looks Like a Lady' by several years, but it did serve as the
inspiration for Aerosmith's DLLAL.

You see, it happened that Desmond Child, a songwriter who worked with Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, happened to hear this one day at a club in Corpus Christi, TX. He took THE IDEA back to CA and collaborated with Tyler/Perry to write DLLAL, but this is what he heard that Sunday afternoon in downtown Corpus Christi, TX. I spoke with him, and he asked me if I wrote 'She Looks Like a Woman.' He thought it was great.
Unfortunately, by the time it got back to LA, the entire point of view and intent were lost and it simply became a gaudy pop tune.
